Changing Jobs after 9 years

Strewth mate, that's come as a bit of a shock!! It's a fair old drive down there and back each day!! We'll have to come and see you in your new surroundings......

Hi Ausiechef, we will no doubt get to see you there one day, we have friends at Warooka and have had a couple of meals in the Warooka Hotel , so next time we are over there will call in and say Hi, maybe not too far off.

Believe it or not I know where Warooka is and passed through there a few times going to a former (used tobe a virtual secret) fishing spot at the southern end of Formby bay.
I guess my last memory of the place was as a seeming 2hr fuel refill while doing a mercy dash with my girlfreind who had a 1.0 hook through her hand on my way too yorktown hosital NYE 95-96

You're a better man than me Warren.

After I sold my Motel and Restaurant in Townsville some years back I did a stint as Head Chef at The Vale Hotel. That was bloody hard work, split shifts, working every Saturday night, ordering, stocktaking etc.

Heh great news, you will be a new man working 6 days a week at Warooka instead of PV ??? Hahahaha

Was at warooka a few weeks back, took the local fire truck for a stroll with a strike team to help with the fires that were down there.

BUT we were fed at the footy club by the salvos, MATE you have huge competition ??? hahahahaha

No complaints, good supply of basic food to fill up hungry fire fighters, all good.

Will have to bring the cook down to see if the GF fish and chips are as good !!!
