Hi
Looking for info in regards to Ride-Rite air suspension or similar, must be heavy duty.
Have a 78 T/D troopy with Old Man Emu suspension(as heavy as it gets) 600kg spring pack in the rear + as heavy as they come i the front. Yes,we are over loaded :) as the back is sagging when the Tvan is hooked up, ball weight is around 180 kg,water tank under car, roller drawers(empty) 150 kg,kaymar duel wheel carrier 150 kg etc etc etc. This is all before we load it! So am hoping air bags at the rear will fix the problem?
Thanks for your help

Lyndon I have the Firestone bags really very good.
You will find heaps of Troopy owners with them.

Hi Lyndon
I followed John's advice and went the same way. Firestone Kit No 2115 will fit with very minor modification and is easy to fit. It has cured what I set out to achieve and it's very simple to achieve the correct ride height under heavy loads. They are cheaper to import than buy here and places like "Trucksprings" are most helpful. Do a Google and you'll find plenty of suppliers. Good luck!!

Lyndon Hi

I,m with John I fitted the firestone airbags after talking to him about them and they are great, my Troopy is fully loaded all the time and I only run about 20 psi in them and with the CV on about 30 - 40 psi and I have standard suspension..

Cheers

Richard
