Hi

Basically the 89 - 98 model was the last one to have leaf suspension up front, but only in the single cab and dual cab versions, while the extra cab came with a longer wheelbase and IFS.
As far as I know all the pre 89 Australian models had leaf suspension up front and because of their height and stiff front ends became known as the Rollux... No prize for guessing why.
Just for interest the 98 - 05 extra cab model (I've got one) also came with a longer wheelbase than the single cab and dual cab versions while the current model now has the same wheelbase across the range

Will.

I have a 96 plate single cab with leaf front & thought it was the last year made, but have no reason to dispute the previous reply.
