Does anyone know where I could find the little icon. files on the web. I downloaded a heap a few years ago but have no idea now where I found them, I'm not looking for .gif .jpg .bmp .png, they must be .icon or they will not work, the idea is you customise the folders, ie a folder of photo's goes from the default yellow to a picture of a camera, I know there are a few crappy looking ones in windows like CDs, monitors, camera's and PDAs , the ones I found had cars, buses, map of Oz etc.

Hi , Do a right click on the yellow folder that you want to change , then click " Properties" and then click on "Customise" then at the bottom of that box there is "Change Icon" click on that and it will open up the Icons , select you camera or which then click OK and then it will change it ( sample ) then "Apply " and it will be done .
hope they are what you were after.
Cheers Des.

Thanks mate, worked that out years ago, I was looking for Widows.ICO files , I found a site that has them but then worked out how to make my own from any little file,One needs to be bloody genius sometimes and I'm far from that , I was up until 2:30 am until I got it ,
