Gday Willem.
I was interested in the brand of booze that you had at The Pyranees...you know the one with the barbed wire. I told my little boy Wes, about it and he wants to try some.
All the best for the new year.

Thanks Michael
We have tried paint stripper . Just not as good as metho and boot polish with sugar to taste. We have tried metho with
orange juice as
well, but just not the same a swhite spirit. We are now looking at the better class of booz, at a cheaper price. we don't want real good stuff as it is not to our pallet.
Thanks for your interest.
Murray
P.s.
I spose thatr we will see you again in July?

When I'm short of a quid I don't mind a glass or two of "Pentridge Champagne"
Take a glass of icy cold metho, and two teaspoons of Eno's, stir, pinch you nose and drink quickly.

Morning Muzbry,
Looking forward to July....and have just read Willies post, so.. I reckon I have a tin of peaches in the cupboard and I have a bottle of 90% proof Wild Turkey too (almost a bottle..lol)
Not too sure about how King Mambo went about it, but if I make a successful blend I'll bring some up in July........
cheers
Michael

It was "Moonshine" I tell ya,
The label and barbed wire on the bottle was just a gimick to put people of the scent ha haha

G'day Murray
And Happy New Year
The moonshine is MAMPOER, named after an African King Mampurra, who, in the mid 1800's used wild peaches to distill this vintage throat soother...:-)
The contents of the Barbed Wire bottle is 50% alcohol/volume peach alcohol. (WITBLITS or White Lightening(a previous import) is 70%).
On the label of the bottle a descript reads as translated
They say.....
at first it makes you attractive
then you become strong
then it makes you clever
and then someone snots you
Enjoy this drop with relish.....if you dare!!
Google it and you will even find the recipe!!!
Cheers

Looks like we have some real boozers on line here. Thanks for the replies , i now have a few new recipe's for "LO".
I will be onto a few booze outlets to find "mampoer" , then it will be "make my own" if i have no luck.
Thanks again.
