Just planning a bit of a meander around Eastern Victoria in early February.
Itinerary is a bit flexible, and wondering if any other members will be wandering around the High Country about 5 - 12 February or thereabouts.
One event that is on about that time is a historical re-enactment of a motorcycle tour.

I wouldnt mind watching them go past.

We'll be up that way 2 weeks earlier travelling haunted Stream across to
Dargo way and a few detours in between. Might even try
Blue Rag range if it open after the recent fires.

Blue-rag is clear down to the river. Last I heard Haunted stream is still closed- maybe
check first with the
ranger at Heyfield. We camped at
Talbotville last week for 5 days and travelled Billy Goat, Tea Tree , Station, Randalls, Bulltown, Crooked river etc in that area and all are good condition, though very dusty. We've done some clean-up work in Grant cemetry and it is starting to also get some regrowth in there. Just wish parks would shout us a new fence there, but they are pretty busy.

A freind who is running the trip rang the DSE last week and they state the Haunted stream track is open! We'll ring them again when it gets a bit closer and let you know

Biglinz,
We were in
Talbotville last week and got talking to a couple from you group that clean up Grant
Cemetery.
After the big storm on Friday the
cemetery might need to be cleaned again with all the bark and branches that had fallen.

Desert, I am just waiting on a call about a possible meeting date in
Melbourne. That will dictate which way I go from here.
I will also be trying out a new GPS and maps.
