When viewing Hema Aust.4wd Maps 2008, the green direction arrows for loading the next map, is not doing this as it cannot find map file path? How do I fix this?

You may have accidentally clicked the small cross in the right-hand-bottom corner of the box with the 4 arrows. It locks you in to a single map path. Click it again and see what happens.

What do you get if you click the yellow dot on the middle of the four arrows? That should show you all maps at that location.

Hello - best "quick fix" for this common problem is to ensure that the actual map image (*.ozf3, ecw, tif etc) is in the same folder as the calibration (*.map) file you are loading.

I loaded this to a friends new computer, who is even more novice than me, and in his learning curve, he must have altered a setting somewhere or other, but buggered if I can find what and where.
May have to do a complete re-install, perhaps....?

Hello, you can define map (calibration file) paths and image file paths in the FILE - CONFIGURATION menu page. Set these to match where your are storing your maps and associated calibration files. As I mentioned before if you have the image and calibration file in same folder this wont matter anyway. If you choose to keep them in separate folders you will however need to define these locations in the configuration settings mentioned above. You may also need to modify the calibration file (*.map) to properly reflect the location of the image file. This is most easily done using the FILE - CHANGE IMAGE FILE NAME, PATH & DRIVE menu.

I keep all my images and calibration files together (under different project/area names) - this is, in my opinion easiest way to handle lots of maps. I dont bother with settings in configuration or file paths in the calibration file.

PS: read the OziExplorer help file - see info under the "Configuration" heading and the "Map Related" section - Using the Find Map Feature subsection
