In the news this morning it has been revealed that Kiwis are heading to Australia because we have better lamb !!
Meat and Livestock Australia's David Thomason said it was all about the lamb. He said Bondi is full of New Zealanders chasing better lamb (or just chasing lambs).
"Why do you think Robbie Deans took on the Wallaby coaching job? He knows Australia produces the best lamb", he said.
And here I was thinking that all those Kiwis came to Australia because they thought the
Canning Stock Route was an Annual Event.

If you are going to reply to posts about kiwis I would be careful about starting with "
well bugger me" you might get flooded with offers:-)))

I make sure I keep all my lambs quiet.
You could say I preside over The Silence of the Lambs.

The 3 great Kiwi lies :
1. My father played for the All Blacks
2. I have no Maori blood
3. Honestly officer, I was just helping the sheep over the fence.

I used to think that Kiwi jokes were unfair....until I travelled with a Kiwi who thought it his patriotic duty to tell Ozzie jokes. Now I'm a convert. I'm sick of them getting all our good topsoil and pavlovas.

Yeah, and they bring their racehorses over here too.
Heck, the nags only run that fast because they've seen what they do to their sheep.

You will have to sort Bondi and the
Gold Coast out with a few other ethnic groups.
In the meantime I'm pushing for a massive fence to be built all the way down 129 deg longitude.
Keep youse guys out and us in.

Just a theory................................
But it seems the majority of Kiwis in the East bondi etc are North islanders
but here in the west most seem to be South Islanders??

Land in Auckland 22/3 and leave from Christchurch 4/4, haven't actually specified the itinerary between those dates, have to work out when we are crossing to the South Island. Getting a big camper and relaxing and looking about should be fun.

Hey Gone Bush,
You had better get a wriggle on with that fence, Two of your locals have already escaped, flogged a kayak and headed east. After about 60 days at sea they look like they will hit the beach in New Plymouth on Monday. Can't really understand the locals giving a big tribal welcome to a couple of refugees though !

camp for a few days heading east and west to explore...
then on down to south island....go anticlockwise around......stopping at will where ever

When I was
young and lived in NZ I never had to chase sheep. There was always plenty of Aussie sheilas around so we left the sheep for the Aussie guys. LOL

Isn't it amazing what an Ozzie will do to try and deflect peoples attention away from a baggy cricket team :-)
I know ! let's start a little friendly banter with the Kiwis - that should be good for a few days :-))

Hey Kiwi, in your photo gallery there's a shot of a glass of beer with your T shirt description behind it.
Was that 7:30AM on your wristwatch?
If so, I think I might let you through the fence.

I can not tell a lie (I am a Kiwi:-), That's my brother in-law and yes he has been know to start (or finish) at that time of day !
Now if he should get through that hole in the fence he really would improve the general iq of both countries.
Lucky I still have a spare hard hat or two in the shed eh !

Very good Kiwi Kia Remember when Robert Muldoon was told that 140,000 Kiwis had left for
Australia in the early 70's???
His reply was " Really, well it will improve the IQ level of both countries wont it"
