Is there anything else I can test or replace to get my driver side headlamp working?

It's not the fuse & it probably is not the bulb as it works OK when high beam is turned on.

It came on OK once when I was trouble shooting so it might be working intermittently

I had a similar problem with my 80 series. It ended up being a crook tail/brake light connection and bulb. The circuit diagram shows that these 2 circuits are only very distantly and operationly connected, but cleaning up the tail/brake assembly and a new bulb and the front right headlamp worked perfectly again.Mine was showing similar symptoms - ok high beam and intermittent on low.

"It's not the fuse & it probably is not the bulb as it works OK when high beam is turned on."

Most headlights have a low beam filament and high beam filament, and quite common for the low beam filament to fail and the high beam filament remain operational.
