Warren, I've been away stranded on Norfolk Island for 2 weeks so must have missed quite a bit. Will now get out my maps and have a look to make sure I can find where you'll be. Wouldn't like to think you were unemployed - you'd get up to too much mischief! The new caravan sounds good - when are you taking off. or just for short runs?

Hi warren, welcome back to the land of taxpayers. It is blokes like you and I that keep the roads graded so that the rest of the EOz's can enjoy the country.

I too have just bought a caravan. The missus said "If you want to go you have to take me. If you take me I want a decent bed etc!"

So there you go. 5 Star comfort in the bush. Look forward to comparing notes at the meet in July. Hope yours has a spare tyre LOL!

Good luck with the job.
Cheers
Fred

Hi Dunworkin

I read your post in previous Thread 53060 re Aussiechef's change of job. I think you mentioned travelling to Warooka to visit your friends the Murdochs.

I wondered if Connie is related to your friends there? I think she was Connie Stanley when married.

Happy days

George

Hi Adlelaide George, I can't remember meeting a Connie Murdoch, our friends are Roger & Jenny, we have known them for many years and have met a lot of their family and friends over that period of time but can't recall a Connie, will keep an eye/ear out.

Cheers

D

Thanks D. I think the Murdochs are a fairly big family with various branches. I remember Connie saying that her father was a tank commander in the 2nd troubles. When I met her she was working at Target in Adelaide and living at Eden Hills.

Just interested to know how she's doing these days.

Happy days

George
