Good afternoon all
I have recently sprayed the bottom of my new vehicle and inner guards with K&H body protectant & sound deadener, where I have sprayed over the factory product it has not dried and caused the existing product to soften, I have approached K&H and they could not come up with a answer. Has any one else had this problem or a answer for my problem.
Regards Allan

Not sure if correct, but to me it sounds like a different thinners being used in the K&H, this has caused a reaction in the paint.

Also the Toyota paint is baked on as far as I know or done in a controlled heated spray booth.

I would check with a Spray Painter.

Hi,
Be fairly careful in the way you use these sound deadener products. They appear to be good for protection against rust but are not meant for that purpose. If salt water, sand, salt get in behind the coating it can work away merrily eating your pride and joy and you think that you have great protection.
