Hi Doug, I have just purchased a new S80 Navman GPS,
Just wondering if you have any for or against these units.
I only got it late today so have not had a chance to look through it thoroughly.
Can you use 4WD maps etc in these units.
This is what I would like to use it for as
well as city and highway maps.
Any input would be appreciated.

Doug is a Garmin user :))
From previous requests about Navman he only had info that was able to be obtained from the web.
Cheers Kev

I think this may end up being a duplicate posting?

All Navmans are streetmappers only.reason being that the maps have to be initialised thru Navmans website and after that will only work on the 1 unit that they are installed in. However I saw a thread on the 4wd monthly
forum that linked to a Hack for some Navman units Search their GPS Tech
forum for the last few days
