Hi all
I have a duel battery management system fitted to a Troopy. A US model. The other week I decided to switch batteries (please don't ask why I run 2 big lead acid batteries, that's another story) to give one a rest & work the other out. The old standby was flat as a pancake! How do I test if it's the battery or the Management system that's packed it in?

Hi Rumbler.

Check all your terminals, start the vehicle & if you have a multimeter, see what voltage is going into the second battery.

If it is charging(similiar to main battery) then you could have a few crook cells in the second battery.
