After 2 months of not using our 2 year old van we arrived at a caravan park yesterday. We have a digital thermometer in the Dometic frigde and it went down to 5 degrees this morning and ever since it has progressively risen to 17 degrees. Last holiday it was fine.
The 3 way fridge is operating on 240 VAC which I have measured at the power point. Also checked the resistance at the power plug - 327 Ohms which indicates the heater is correct and the thermostat is on. The boiler is getting hot. It is not a ventilation problem as the weather is very cool.
Has the fridge lost its gas? What other checks can I do, pleasde?
Regards
Glenn

Hi Glenn
I reckon the gas is the problem, We learnt a long time ago, to
leave the fridge running even when your not using it,
A fridge repair man told us this helps to keep the gas up to it
if they have a slow leak.
Cheers
