Sorry to hear your fridge is playing up. My later fridge is about 5 years old, and the only issue is the fan stopped working, and it became less efficient and cycled more often. It still froze stuff down to -20degrees. I called into the service agent last month and bought a new fan. My second engel is 17 years old and hasn't had any probs.

Thanks Phil, good to see you've had a good run. With mine, who knows, the only thing we do know is that we have a lot of power spikes where we live, and Ive had the engel on mains for the last 6+months- may have something to do with it, I dont know? Will drop it off next week to be repaired, along with my phone that stoped working, and the aircon in swmbo's car LOL. When it rains, it pours!!
