Josh,

To fit 285/70/17 without rubbing you will need at least 50mm of lift and P50 offset wheels (Prado standard wheels are P30).

Josh,

265/70/17 will fit on your wheels with no rubbing issues (that's what I run). I don't know what wheels come standard with P50 offset, the people I know that have done that have used after market wheels. The best guys to speak to are ATS in Geelong.
They are the gurus on 120 Prado suspension and wheels.

ATS Daz here, you can fit 285's, but they take some trimming, to fit.

Did one last week.

need to plasma cut the body mount, trim the mudflap, and make some room behind it.

Have also done some with 33 x 12.5's and 34 x 10.5 swampers.

thanks daz,i emailed you guys at ats with more or less the same question. when you say cut the body mount is that the one that is front of the wheel (looks like the rad support mount?) or the cab mount with the mud flap and inner gaurd in front of it? how close to the top control arm does the tyre come? did you take any pics? if you did any chance of emailing them? thanks for the post.
