hmmmm.....
i am involved with this one
Rally of Lithgow
someone had one of Brock's old VKs there last year, but yep it is mostly highly charged fours and sixes so you miss the roar of the V8. However, great track in the Jenolan
State Forest and the skill of rally drivers is impressive.

Can't really see the point in the modern V8 racing.
Ford against ford, sorry ford against ford in a commode looking body.
Both run double wishbone
suspension at the front, both run ford 9" rear diffs. Both run ---------- the same.
And they don't let any other V8s run to keep them honest.
Suppose I am biased, not like some, having always had 4 cylinder cars. In my youth, my cooper S used to go around the V8s in the corners, and hold them on the straights.
Enjoy myself in my sons cars now. Was ferrying one back from the north coast the other week and had a bit of fun with a modified SS commodore. He wouldn't go fast enough and I kept catching him in the 74 VW beetle. I behave myself now and keep the speed under 120.

Im with old plodder here.
Bring on some fresh cars, ideas, and challenges. Who wins, holden or ford? Big deal, like F1, theres only a few competitive teams, the otehrs are there to make up numbers
