A call to Member - Topcat. ..I had a look at your site and Troopy today –Excellent!
Where did you get the Pop-up Roof/Sleeping compartment? How happy are you with it? And approximately how much did it cost?

I’m in Melbourne these days but if when I’m next in WA I’ll let you know – would love to have a look at your rig close up.
Cheers
Alex

Hi Alex, got the roof conversion done through Dove Campers here in Welshpool.
Cost $3000 & was well worth the money. It is a better design then the Trakka setup as the weather sealing rim has more efficient sealing from water & dust
because of the deflector panel across the front above the windscreen. The manager of Dove Campers designed the setup himself after looking at other configerations and improving on them. It takes 2 days to do the conversion. i.e.
the roof only. I made & fitted the flooring for the sleeping compartment myself.
It only takes a couple of minutes to raise the roof and the bed is already made. It saves a lot of time when travelling & overnight stopping. The roof height when in the lowered position is the same as the standard roof height of the vehicle.
Glad you like it. I get queries all the time when on the road from other vehicles with pop-up conversions & the majority say it is the best design they've seen yet. Had it done 5 years ago & no problems with it so far. Cheers.Have Wheels Will Travel
