These look flash!! Coupled with OztopoV2 (when released) they could prove hard to look past for those chasing handheld for walking/out of town work.

Garmin Colorado

I am lead to believe you will have to wait till May or somewhere thereabouts before released in Australia though apparently you can get US units on eBay (havent checked).

Cheers

Hello - OztopoV2 is (will be) produced by your good friends and GPSOz

OzTopoV2

It was to be released by now - but appears to be some issues - I assume with "unlock codes" but not sure.

I am assuming the level of detail will be equivalent to Magellan's DAST topo as a fair percentage (all?) of the data is derived from same source.

There is a range of mapping products available for various Garmin units

Garmin Mapping

Compatibility with the various new Colorado units is probably yet to be documented but again I assume it will be same as current range of Garmin 60/70 series mapping units the Colorado aims to replace.

Cheers
Greg
