The bullbar has been ripped off again on my buddies Nav. Twice he has hit the base of a sand dune trying to get up it and has found the MTZ Mickeys knoblies getting caught in the factory alloy bullbar, bending the side returns down and resulting in having to remove it there and then in the middle of the Robe/Beachport track. He wants a fix it solution but is not keen on the 3 grand lift kit that people have quoted him.
He has already spun the torsion bars up to give him lift but its the down travel that seems to be the killer. I was thinking about taller bump stops but he would ultimately prefer a lift as they are a bit verticaly challenged anyway.
Cheers Chard.

Again.

He's done this more than once, then.

Standard torsion bars wound up offer poor compression springing, as he has discovered. Put stronger bars in for a start

Get the Grinder!,
If you can't get the wheel away from the bar move the bar away from the wheel
