Road Conditions - Gulf Rd

Hi Folks..I am a brand new visitor. We are planning to travel the Gulf Rd between Burketown & Borroloola during June/July. We are considering taking our caravan which is not classed as an off-roader but is a very solid Roadstar Tandem with independant Simplicity suspension. It's around 23ft ball to bumper & we have travelled on many varying tracks although we have not pulled it through many creek/river crossing. I'd appreciate any comments or advice with regard to our getting through this road without too much damage. We have got plenty of time on our hands so the trip doesn't have to the "bull at the gate" type. Hope to hear from a few seasoned off-roaders.............Barnapuss
