Sounds like something to do with mobile phones.

Can someone please enlighten me as to range, coverage, handset quality and how it compares to CDMA.

Cheers.....Lionel.

Is it necessary to perpetrate American slang OMG here on a dinkum Aussie site?. Or do you blindly follow this stupid saying like all others who have little to say.

And I'm getting sick of reading posts where someone dresses down another member with a holier-than-thou attitude, blindly following the trend on other forums. Fair dinkum Willem you don't know me (before you ask "who the hell are you") but you are amongst the more prominent characters on this forum and often set the tone.

I have to say the bad language on this forum has been getting worse including the American slang.

Uses of the F word disguised with $, # & WT# is more common I've noticed and pretty offensive in a post as far as I'm concerned. I probably use it every day in the privacy of my home but in a public forum I don't like it. Sh$t is tolerable but that's about it.
I should really wait 24hrs before I press 'Submit' shouldn't I?

RovingOz,

Just for the record. my post was tongue in cheek, Willems reply did not offend me, and I doubt my reply offended him or anyone else for that matter.

Take a chill pill.

Sorry fellas it's not all about you. There are wifes, female members etc who read the forum.

Steve
Funny you felt complelled to post - you're were the exact person I was thinking of regarding the use of the F word lately. You were true to form in that reply. And no, you don't know "what is".

Cruiser
Really - tongue in cheek - never have guessed. Don't give a rats whether Willem's reply offended you or not. To someone new on the forum his comments would have been seen as condescending.
I was more on about the direct use of the word in a sentence not so much the WT#'s.

Willem
any suggestions...

Ah well I should've kept my mouth shut but no I had to go and give my opinion didn't I and we all know here that gets you on here. I'll stick to the usual BS in future.

I have used the f/word twice in two weeks far far less than others on this site and if you read all the post that come up you would find a lot more people do as well.

For instance :

Yep well that reply pretty well supports what I'm saying to anybody with an IQ above their body temperature.

"As long as they are over the age of consent I can see no problem."

No of course YOU couldn't. I think the girls might have something different to say. Lets start a new post and find out.

Tough! Yep stuff everybody else, I'm fine thanks. That always works.

Thks but - I - don't need the medication.

Oh well I know I probably had a brain snap on here tonight and judging from past examples I will pay for my indiscretions dearly but honestly I just don't care just tone down the swearing and play nice.

Yes I know - this is getting very tired ...OK David you can delete all this crap now. LOL

Maybe the Queensland sun has advanced your thoughts into a meltdown.

Basically if you don't like what is written on this forum then go somewhere else. This applies to your 'wifes and female members'. It is the same as picking up a book and reading it.

The moderators on this forum have the power to remove a thread.

I am still of the opinion that some valium would be good for you

I must apologise for being the only person ever on exploroz to post something that has no relevance to this site.

I am off now to go and test out my NextG.

OK, I'll shift the agenda.
Bloody Optus (Isim) was pretty useless when I tried to use it in Margaret River recently. Worked fine just north of the town, useless within the town. What use is a system like that when they can't position a base station properly?
Your flood of replies, please.

Optus does not work outside of major cities and towns anywhere.

I would recommend you change to a Next G service with Telstra it works everywhere you need it. :-)

But, but, but... an Indian call-centre personage swore to me that Optus covered 98% of Australia!!
And, oh, my goodness me, that was "of Australia", not "of Australians" he most assuredly promised me!
Does this mean I have been dudded?
