I get sick of seeing Prado forum promotions on every Prado question on this site.

Phil,
Now you know how us LandRover owners feel.

Even if the topic is nothing to do with Landy's, there is always one "intelligent' poster who says "you will find what you need at aulro.com."

That's not saying that aulro is not a top site for Landy owners, but it's hardly relevant when the topic is tyres or fridges.

Feel better now
Cheers

Disco.

The 1KZ-TE uses shims for valve clearance adjustment. To check clearances is easy. To change clearances is not, as it involves replacement with different size shims.

The clearances are written in your handbook.

I'd suggest that you check the clearances, and if any need changing, get a specialist to do it.
