Garmin nuvi 760 Review

Route planning, trip logs, and speed limit indicator, I feel sure this will be many times better in acuracy than Willems TomTom.

Mine is in the mail and eager to get the claws onto it.

Doug,

I don't know if you are aware, but there is a nasty little endless loop type of advertising pop up on the bottom of each page in that Review Link.

Note to any readers:
To avoid the popup make sure you scroll to the very bottom of the page and click on "Next Page" to proceed thru the review. If you click on the ">>NEXT" box it takes you down an aggressive advertising path for a registry cleaner.

Kingo

PS I like the sound of this NUVI 760. I am just waiting to see what the OZtopo v2 maps are like before I abandon my Garmin II+ and Ozi explorer on PDA.

With all these Garmins keep an eye on the 12v adapter head that you insert into the 12v outlet, they have a BAD habit of vibrating loose and blowing the fuse in the 12v outlet. We had three do it in Canada, Avis weren't too happy when we kept bringing them back, I even showed the guy how loose the replacement one was when I took it from him, he near did a double take when I tightened it with the Leatherman hahahaha

Hullo Doug,

I've got a 660, like yours Doug. Have you noticed the rubber suction cup starting to get a bit rough and not sticking on the windscreen properly?

Any fix other than a new one?

cheers

I'm glad I ain't too scared to be lazy
