West Aussie 4WD Adventure Park

Yes you read that correctly!!
Think Landcruiser Mountain Park……….. Then think, 300,000 acres of it.
That’s the size of a small country and then some.

I have recently come across some information that Coolcalalaya Station is in the midst of creating the ultimate “station stay”. From your basic camping, to adventure trips in specially designed custom buggies for day and o/night trips. Motor bike tag along tours and 4wd tracks ranging in difficulty from mild to extreme (so I have been told). Swimming holes with designated camping spots along the Murchison River and wildlife/livestock frequent this active pastoral landscape, and it is still an active running station.

Future facilities will include toilets and showers at the camp sites, but at this stage everything is byo, and I mean everything. As this is only the beginning, there is limited infrastructure and this park will be opened in stages first stage to be opened soon (I will let you know).

The first stage will include "roughing it" camping sites and buggies and bike tag alongs. There may be the option of other activities with inquirery.

You will need to supply your own fuel, water, electricity etc at this stage as there are no arrangements in place for the sale of these at this time.

I have been told that civilised and controlled dogs will be allowed at this time however with this being an active station I would assume that poisonous baits would scatter the property, so take your dog at your own risk.

Camping fees will be reasonably priced too at only $20 per couple per night
And the buggie and bike tours will include bbq meals in their prices.

This is just a plug for a local company that I think everyone will benefit from, I have not negotiated a return for this and I have the businesses permission to post their info, so mods please allow this to stay posted on this forum

be interested to hear if its real $20 camping sounds good,

300,000 acres sounds like you wouldnt have people camping on your head either.

shame its 1 country width too far for a weekend

Hmmm cant see it taking off. That far from perth there are countless pay nothing campsites where you see no one for a week.
cant think of anything worse than camping on an overgrazed de nuded station full of feral animals and goat crap

The possibility of a bush camp holiday with goat shooting thrown in sounds great to me.
