Beach driving on Cape York

I was called Andrew but I gather there are too many of them *^!!
I read that access to
Vrilya Point was closed and was wondering if there are any other areas of the Cape that you are allowed to drive along the beach. For instance, along the beach between
Weipa and
Mapoon. Seems that little by little
beach access is being closed off and soon we might all be herded into designated camping grounds. It is great to be able to drive along a beach and
camp up amongst the trees away from lots of campers...
