Wondering if anyone here knows if there are any software packages available for a Nuvi showing B-Double routes when travelling? Just a curious truck driver. Kind Regards,

No there's not , you can't load routes to a Nuvi 660 anyhow, Have you got it set for Trucks, the new 760 will take routes but you would have to make your own from the Roadtrain/B Double Govt' maps , which wouldn't take long on the PC if you had Mapsource installed on the PC , I did a low
bridge file last year, it's on the POI Data base also QT has some POI's that will work in the 660, at the bottom link.
Find Bridge HieghtsQld Truck Parks and Bays

thanks Doug, interesting reading there. Are you aware of any gps units that do have b-double route mapping? Could be a marketing opportunity for someone in the know! Many thanks again, cheers

Not to my knowledge , No i have not come across any software that has that feature as yet, the best gps unit to add your own would be this unit featured in this link below,
Yes it would be a good for the State Governments to issue a set of down-loadable GPS Routes for Roadtrains / B-Doubles ,
Garmin StreetPilot 7200
