Some time ago David questioned getting the full amount of fuel into/out of a LRA tank.
In preparation for a trip I have just emptied one of my tanks to check for sediment etc.
With the vehicle facing gently uphill I pumped fuel across until the red warning light came on in the auxiliary gauge I then removed the brass plug and emptied a further 7 litres from the tank. Maybe the baffles slow things down a bit.
It’s handy to know there is a bit of a safety reserve.
