Hi
We are looking for a good quality foot pump, can anyone recommend a brand?. WHY, i hear you ask!
We travel solo and would like a back up for our under bonnet ARB compressor should it fail.
Or maybe i should just have a second (cheapy) electric compressor?
Problem i see with that is that it is likely to fail on the first tyre.
Thanks for your help

I carry one of those red single barrel hand pump - $10 at any of the auto accessory stores or BigW etc - I also use it for our bike tyres, so its had a fair bit of use. Also Michelin make a foot pump, which is better quality - about $35. Also the Bike shops have some good quality (large) hand pumps - saw some at Anaconda last week. Cheapy electric compressors are not as reliable, and don't shift as much air as a handpump.
