hi, we are in the market for a freezer and came across a primus 2 way 40 litre fridge/ freezer, it all seems quite good but wanted to know if anyone has had any dealings with one, and if so how did it go as a freezer?
thanks from Chris

Your most important consideration is how far below ambient temperature will this go - it should be indicated in the brochure that comes with the fridge. If you do a lot of outback travelling or want to use the fridge in your
campsite I'd set a lower limit of 40 degrees below ambient if you want to use it as a freezer. Anything less and your food could be defrosting inside the unit on a hot summers day

hi, we did read what information there was and it says that it was tested in 55c and ran about -4, there doesn't seem to be much about it, that's why i was hoping someone knows some more. the power consumption seems very good.
