Just had a call from the son in-law, on his way
home from a job in the lower Hunter region NSW, The
Broke to
Wollombi road for those that know the area. Evidentley he was travelling along a twisting narrow part of the road, when a roo came straight off a bank and onto the bonnet!, of his EL falcon
sedan. Hit the top of the guard and bonnet, tail lashed the windscreen. Scared the living daylights out of him,( Bugger needs slowing down a bit..lol) But glad he wasn't hurt!. The EL, as far as i can work out has a stuffed bonnet, badly dented guard, and cracked windscreen, but he is still driving it
home , so can't be to bad . Another drama for the week in our household.
Cheers Ageing Axle.

Yep, know what you mean! Years ago, cruising along in a work FJ55 Tojo at night, (now that was a while back!), a roo jumped out and hit the front wheel arch. I think the head was caught in
the arch, and the body swung around into the passenger door with a helluva bang. My work colleague was snoozing with his head against the pillar. The roo banging into the side of the door caused him to nearly $h!t himself! Didn't do the door much good either. Or the roo.

Ha Ha Ha, if Gerry had been in any other 4x4 he would have been many km's further up the road and not had a problem in the first place. LOL.

Driving at night can be a
hazard to your health when in roo country. But driving through cuttings in the road during the night in roo country you need to be on ball. I remember about 4 years ago seeing a truck in
Roma that had a roo come off a cutting up near
Injune that had gone through the front windows
of the cab and killing the driver.
