hi there guys

can anyone tell me how much it costs to fit a genuine or aftermarket 3500kg limit towbar to a 98 100 series landcruiser
and does anybody know some places on the gold coast that are
reasonable in price to have this done

Hi brentos

In October 2006 we had a new Hayman Reece 3.5 tonne tow bar fitted to our Nissan Patrol, by our local Opposite Lock. Cost was $360 plus $45 fitting. I can't see that a bar for Landcruiser would cost much different. They were very obliging at this workshop, and when i put a 'good news' post here, others followed with all good experiences from their Opposite Lock shops.

Sounds very fair to me.

Anything under $500 would be OK for my hard earned.

Jim.

Genuine are about $460 and fit it yourself. All the bolts are there or in the kit and takes a couple of hours. Look on Ebay or the 4wd forum classifieds. I sold one for $110 recently Was all I could get for it.
Just remeber your model takes a narrower bar than the later IFS models

Heres what U want i think check with Toyota The part number for a live axle ends in 60 AN IFS one ends in 64
