Hi
Does anyone know if there is a commercially made vice that is designed to fit a bull bar? Don't want anything to HUGE.
Thanks
Lyndon

Lyndon:

Have not seen one on a bullbar, but was impressed with one I saw which fitted into the slot on a tow bar. Just a normal vice welded onto a bit of square tubing, drilled to take the retaining pin. Worked a treat for the owner. He would just remove it when not in use.

Might be another option to consider.

just work out where on the bull bar one will fit and purchase one to suit-drill holes and bolt it on.
Would recommend you put one on a rear bar so you dont contravene any possible laws covering protrusions etc.
have seen plenty on rear bars but none on bull bars.
cheers fozzy

I bought a swivel 'scaff clamp' (for builder's scaffolding) and ground the centre pin out which left me with 2 seprerate clamps. Get a couple of half inch bolts, grind the heads down to suit the hole and weld them to the clamp then bolt this to your vice.

This is rock solid and takes 30 seconds to fit to a standard bullbar. When not in use just undo the two nuts with a shifter and throw it in the back.

100% legal and 100% solid. Easy!
