Over the past week we have had about 400mm of rain yet a neighbour and 3 other mates decided to go 4wding. They were in 2 SWB Cruisers, a Rodeo and he was in his 100 series. They only had minimal ext straps and 2 winches. 1 on his cruiser and a PTO on a SWB. He reckoned they only got 500m down the track and they all ended belly up on their chassis LOL

They spent over 3 hours trying to get out and they were at max length of their winch ropes and ext straps for a few pulls.

He was going to come and get me to go out with Darkie to rescue him but Darkie is at the doctors getting a RWC so he can become a true Queenslander ;))

Now he wants me to go with him, to get him out in the future, so much for track conservation up here. I might wait until it drys out a bit first as I don't think I want to spend all day recovering myself then cleaning Darkie if I don't have to.

Cheers Kev

Kev.
Poor Darkie. Maybe its time to paint him blue after that great state down south.

How are you & Sam handling all that rain?

Regards.

Vince,

I'll paint him Maroon before any other colour comes close to him LOL

He is just itching to get rid of the cockroach plates ha ha ha

The rain is a blessing ATM as it is keeping the heat to a minimum as the AC is still RS. I frog fried the electrics in it, not bad for an AC less than 2 weeks old "NOT"

Cheers Kev

Amazes me how some people like playing in mud ?????

And ripping up the tracks doing it !!!!!!!!

When its wet.....leave the bush alone and go and play in some local quarry instead !!!!!!!!!

4wd's are for enjoying the bush......not destroying it !!!!!!
