Well, we got up at sparrow's fart, headed to Wandin and began setting up our display at about 7am.

There I am, under the awning of the Camper Trailer, zipping it to the Camper and in a most compromising postion.

All of a sudden two arms wrapped themselves around my body and maliciously molested me. Frenzied, I shook my self free and spun around to see..................the grinning (but most ugly) face of.........

G.W. BONZ

A most traumatic experience.

While on the topic of Wandin, mate got a quote on a GU snorkel from ARB (show special and all) - $600!!

Have they doubled in price for safari snorkels in recent times?

makes me happy to have a mate that works there and fitted ourselves then! Saved me 100's!

Considering Blackburn nissan had Gen nissan (airtec) at Wandin I think mate said they were sub 350

While on the subject, my first time at Wandin and found the layout very confusing, lots of little boxes of stands, facing every which way, made it very difficult to make sure you saw everything. Has it always been that lay out or is it something they tried for this show? Just wondering........

Hi John

There were a few more than normal that were out of the reccomended line and we nealy missed a couple.

At least this year there was more shade at the main food area - but it still lacked in secondary areas, and this is reason we left early.

Overall it was a pretty good show , and they seem to have enough portable toilets these days , this used to be a real problem.

Everyone on other forums is saying that the number of stalls is down on other years.

The heat- they asked for peoples suggestions after the last 40 degree show, everyone said some tents from Kennards or the like, good to see they listened.

Trend seems to be everyoe get there opening time, and sod off before lunch and the heat.

LOL...

It was good to see you and Jenny, it's a shame about the heat..seemed to knock people about...they might need to rethink when they have it...lots of people asking questions and interested so that was good.

Great to meet some people who called in to say Hi on our stand.

cheers

Hi Lyn,

Darkside Childminding Services, with Bonz as the chief carer, worked a treat. Thanks again.

[To fill in the gaps for others, when our 11 year old got a bit worried that I'd deserted him (perish the thought:)) he made his way back to the friendliest stand at the show and waited while Bonz rang me to make sure that I hadn't in fact run away.]

You should have seen it from MY side, I thought it was Jenny! Not really!

Warm day though, and good crowd in the morning but they got warmed off in the arvo. Good to catch up with you and Jenny and all the EO'ers there
