As part of our next trip we are intending on traveling on the following route. Has anyone traveled this route? If so, any real problems doing so?

Diamantina lakes (sth & east) to Kurran station onto Connemara station through to Jundah.

I understand that this route is subject to weather conditions.

If you were to give Opal Horizon a call on 07 38395088 they may be able to bring you up to date.
They have very extensive EP's on Kurran, I think could be starting a drilling program there shortly.
It can be quite juicy through there, several creek crossings which get washed out and plenty of black soil flats. Just a passing storm will stop you in your tracks!
But amazing country, and worth the trip.

Furph.

Thanks for that.
We have been through the Diamantina area a number of time before but not this particular route.
That black soil country is treacherous after any rain.
