Just bought a book "camping guide to Tasmania" which shows the campsites and facilities such as drinking water, toilets, pets etc.etc.What it does not mention anywhere is if generators are allowed at the campsites most of which appear to be free.Anyone know if there are restrictions on generator use.?

There would be 2 places that generators wouldnot be welcome. In national parks and the few freebies in towns.

The Rambler - Basically don't start it before 8 am and turn it off by 8 pm and you shouldn't upset your neighbours. I told our neighbour i didn't mind if they started it at 7 am and off by 9 am - they usually used to 8 to 8 times. Someone who ran theirs outside of these times was most unpopular.
