I use the same type of tester and it works fine.
The only thing I would be concerned about is the price tag, at $19.95 I would be suspicious of the country of manufacture (china?). Quality and longevity may be compromised but at that price - who cares.

John
Put it in your '
shopping cart' and sit back until they have a freight free Sunday (you just missed one). Then order everything you want freight free.
We have got a lot of stuff from DD, but generally the
tools have been pretty cheap and nasty.
Still, at the price it is worth a try, specially if you can save the $14.95 freight.

IMHO most multimeters will do the job and have lots of other uses.
About $15 at retailers.

Checking a battery without using a Digital Multimeter ($15) is a waste of time.
If you want to load
test the battery connect an old 50 watt Headlight globe.

Why do you need to check your battery all the time, if the system is designed correctly it should be OK.
If you battery doesn't last aslong as it did last week then there may be something wrong.
Take it to a place that has a proper battery tester and get it checked.
A real battery tester will tell you alot more then one of these cheap one but are harder to set up first time.
