I questioned these blokes at a show one year and they assurred me that the gears were cut in the USA. When I asked if they were Richmond gears, they said no, but another large US gear maker. So I guess they'd pretty right being from the US of A.

The gears I was looking at are supposed to be made in Italy. The company has good feedback on E Bay so Ill probably go ahead and get the gears as they are about halve price to genuine ones.
Thanks Dave...

Are you changing ratio or repairing a breakage?? Whilst i have not hears any bad things about the Italian gears, they are supposedly not as strong as oem...
There is another guy on ebay who sells second hand oem, he is actually Brunswick diesel in WA, who does the chev v8 conversions....maybe a call to him will help, gers are usually around 200 a set preloved but wrong ratio

Hi Andrew
I am changing gear ratios from 4.11 to 4.6 & I was a bit worried that these gears weren't as strong. As you suggest I think I will give Brunswick Diesel a ring an have a talk to them ,Thanks for the feedback.
