towing mirrors

i have tried a couple of types but find they vibrate and wonder if their is a better one i could try

You don't say which types you have tried. We use Aussie truck mirrors & find them pretty good.
They are available most automotive stores, they are not cheap but worth the money in my opinion. Cheers

There's a bloke selling them on ebay atm for $80- each + $15- postage for first one + $5- postage for any additional ones. You could get 2 to your door for $180-.

so do I,the only problem with them is that the sun detoriates the rubber straps and the straps break

Perish..... be buggered, I've had mine for 4 years, and like yours I would presume are not on the car 24/7, I only fit them when towing,

Method, remove outside Mirror
Image Could Not Be Found

mirror fitted

For extra safety in case I fit a zip tie through the hole where the outside mirror was bolted,

Can't remember the name of mine but they have a strap that hooks under the bottom of the door with the mirror on its own frame. They are excellent, strong, don't rattle and will last a long time.
