Darwin to Borroloola

How is the road and what sort of time frame will it take to drive from Darwin to Borroloola. Stuart Hwy then Carpentaria hwy in Early April.

Depends on how fast you drive... You could get there in a day if you want to, but to would be a long day.

Depends on what sort of weather they get between now and the end of March. I have done the road quite a few times, along with lots of others up around Borroloola. Last cpl of times we have been out their the rains have been late and the road has been closed until mid April and when it did open it had some quite bad area's where the road had been washed away. Just check with Borroloola or Cape Crawford a few weeks before you get there.

Not sure where their up to but Caretaker of the Van Park was telling me the other day the Park may not open after this wet season.......
