We are contemplating doing the
Omeo to Corryong trek after the National 4WD gathering in
Mitta Mitta. Can anyone tell us if it is possible to tow a camper trailer on this trek. We drive a Jeep Cherokee KJ & tow a Tvan.

I was only in that area last week and I wanted to do that trip from
Omeo to
Tallangatta.
I was told at
Omeo that there wasn't any problems towing a CT, but as the weather was a bit unsettled and looked like it might rain for a while, we decided to go through to
Bright instead.

Hi
John & Robyn,
Xmas of 2003 we did Corryong - Benambra in our td Patrol minus CT. The road was good gravel but watch out for logging trucks. If you monitor UHF 40, they report their position relative to the distance markers on the road. Stay
well left on the numerous blind corners. Quite a picturesque drive.
We did
Omeo -
Tallangatta some weeks later with CT. Lots of landslips in gullies south of
Mitta Mitta. Had to crawl through several in 4WD. Otherwise, no hassles.
Hope this helps.
