I did miss one small bit of info, The use of an external antenna on the roof improved the speed accuracy by 2Kph showing that the car speedo was just 2Kph out, so if you want better performance from any GPS get an External , probably mounting location closer to the windscreen as was the case when I had the 660 would be ideal, at the moment my 760 is sky limited by the central fuel gauge pod,
When I was driving an International T2670 with upright windscreen and sun visor using the old Garmin GPSII an external was essential.

DougT, you would have been using Paper Clips to hold your maps on to the Sun visor then.

Yep Doug, I had the same problem when I was driving a Commer Knocker.
