Had ours replaced yesterday and it had slightly more power but definitely a noise coming from either the valve itself or the turbo. It is only happening under load and I'll give it a week to see if it settles down. Has anyone else had the same experience. The vehicle is running a 3" exhaust right through.

Had a new noise from where they forgot to replace the EGT probe!

I had
mine done last week - no difference in performance, but a much louder exhaust sound, especially at low revs. thought maybe the exhaust needed to settle, left it a day, still no change, so I got under it, and the mechanics had left quite a few bolts out of the heat shields, and one of said bolts is tapped all the way into the dump pipe (MTS 3" dump and pipe) so exaust was coming out the bolt hole.
I fixed it myself, as I didn't want the mechanics near it again if they can't even put bolts in! (pickerings Mt Isa)
I was quite disappointed that they were so poor at their job

mmmmmmmmm
Mine is a Denco dump pipe. It does not look like they removed the turbo shields but will get under with a mirror to have a good look around. It is in a bugger of a spot eh? Found that they had removed the oil filters to give a bit more room but they could have wiped the oil up from underneath as it was dripping in the garage.

We took it back to get checked out and it is going back in again for another go. What exactly the issue was is a mystery at this stage as I was not there. Will post it up if they inform me what the issue was or where they buggered up. I am a confirmed believer as to why they will never get to service my car. It is obvious it was never road tested before i got it back!

We got our vehicle back after another attempt to get it right and I was informed the studs had to be replaced as the pipe was not seating properly? When i questioned why it was not road tested in the first place he had no answer.. It is a lot quieter than it was before.
