Can anybody point me in the right direction of good safe caravan parks on the
Gold Coast, or between
Brisbane and the
Gold Coast.
Thanks RosscoH

Burleigh Heads has a nice park and close to beach / shops everything you could want and another one is at Tallabudgera Creek just near
Burleigh Heads.
Both on
Gold Coast HWY.
Keep everything secure where ever you go on the
Gold Coast /
Brisbane.

Gold coast.
Treasure Island caravan park
It enjoys a good name .

Treasure Island on the north end particularly if you have kids, or Kirra beach on the southern end if you want a more peaceful place. Of course Burleigh, Tallebudgera and Ashmore Palms are also popular.Depends whether you want to be near surf, calm water or theme parks.

Gold Coast Holiday Park, Siganto Drive Helensvale Ph: 1300 789189
This one is close to Movieworld, Wet and Wild and Dreamworld (North end of
Gold Coast).
Lots of others listed here:
Gold Coast Caravan Parks
I'm almost certain Treasure Island has gone. Now a shopping centre, including BCF.

Hi Rosscoh,I live locally and would say Tallebudgera is very nice as it sits on Tallebudgera creek, also has swimming enclosure in the creek.and has surf club over the road for a feed and beer.
The other at North Burleigh/Miami is on
the beach and has a surf club within stumbing distance.
But yes lock up your stuff as the Goldy has more than its fair share of scumbags !
Cheers

One park that is always left out of the picture is the Jacobs
Well Caravan Park. Not 5 star but is at a great little spot with plenty of room to put the boat. Great fishing and crabbing. Good pub that serves a real cold beer and a half decent feed. Halfway between the
Gold Coast and
Brisbane and the best part is not to many people.

If you want
Gold Coast don't consider the
Gold Coast Holiday Park. It is
miles from the coast and next to the highway. We live in
Brisbane and usually stay at Main Beach. Tallabudgera Creek is another favourite. There is a shuttle bus to the theme parks if that is your thing.

We stayed at the one at Broadwater directly opposite Seaworld on the
Gold Coast Hwy. Nice and clean and right on the water. Traffic noise wasn't really a problem either.
Currently staying at
Brisbane Holiday Village for 3 weeks at Mt Gravitt lovely place and probably the cleanest park I've ever stayed in.

I just had 4 days at this park and rate it very highly. Also got a nice feed of fish practically out the back door.
