I leave
Cairns QLD and have a week to get to
Hawker in the Flinders Rangers SA.
My dilema is weather to go via the
Birdsville or
Strzelecki Track and if the rain we are having up here is (or will) having any effect on the tracks.

You can find out the latest SA road conditions at:
Northern SA Road report
Phone 1300 361 033 also gets the same report.
This report is updated whenever conditions change.
Your only issue as AFAIK, is that the
Innamincka Causeway may be closed for the next few weeks. But the
bridge across at
Nappa Merrie should be fine. I'm not sure about upstream.

Is it too much wine with Viv & Lyn that makes you go "idagonally"
Sorry
