Does anyone know a suitable address to service a Series 3 Land Rover in the Perth area?
The valve stem seals need to be replaced.
It's a 2.25 ltr 4 cylinder petrol (original).

Apparently Barbagallo does not service Series 3 Land Rovers...

With a decent set of tools anda workshop manual you can do it easily yourself. If its out of your league, talk to Russell Booth at ARB in Osborne Park. What he doesn't know about landrovers probably isn't worth knowing

Yoos will find a full list of recommended suppliers for Land Rovers on the LROC of WA web site

http://www.geocities.com/lrocwa/lroc_suppliers.htm

I understood real L-R Series owners did everything themselves !!!

Should you be travelling up my way (Derby, WA) we just happen to have a Series guru in town who did his apprenticeship on Series Landies and still fixing them (and re-building tired ones). He also does all the old air-cooled VW's, so he's been a godsend to more than a few impecunious tourists.

Thanks guys, very helpful addresses.

It's true that Series owners do most of the work themselves (as I did last year), but I want to save some time and have the car fixed before my return to Australia.

For last years articles: http://www.millhouse.nl/acrossaustralia01.html

Cheers,

Fred
