Hi All
First day of Winter, looking forward to cooler days & nights, and the
annuual migration of the Southern Snow Bunnies, to our fine State,
plus the end of Day Light Saving at the end of March, which will
bring the rest of Australia in line with us,and the Cockeroaches that
have laid dorment will try to upset our mighty Cane Toads over the
next few months, time to get out our Maroon Jerseys, and look
forward to another Blues white wash, gee it must be time to fill up
with Diesel with our Eight cents per litre subsidy. lifes good.
Cheers
Daza.

No, Daz, it's only Autumn - which means cooler nights (lovely) but when mowing the yard it's still sweaty during the day. Winter still another couple of months away. Who cares - the change in the air and the light in the afternoons looking over Mt Barney makes you want to jump in the car and go camping to one of the favourite spots, doesn't it?

I know you Qlders think you are a different country and that you don't want DST but you can't just change the seasons around to suit yourselves (although I'm sure you think you can) ROFLMFAO

Bware - we are a different country. LOL. I spent four years living in Murwillumbah and that was so fantastic because I had the best of both worlds - mountains, surf, rivers and Queensland not far away! LOL. Now I live somewhere just like that - only in Queensland.

Ahhh, but Grasshopper, we haven't changed anything have we. It's the clever dicks south of here who have tried (And failed miserably) to change things.
Please correct me if I'm wrong. And I will admit the first thread got it a little wrong. We're not all perfect but I'm bloody close.

You're a man of my own heart Daza. My colours never get put away and are worn with pride the whole year through. The little Cane Toad is suction capped to the windscreen every day except those with the family in the passengers
seat (Not often the little toad is removed as I am always solo going somewhere).
Happy days in our principality,
Trevor
