Hi all. When we go away we borrow the inlaws' 40L Waeco fridge, CFC40 I think the model is. Anyway, I'm just fine tuning some measurements for the rest of my rear storage unit and need a measurement. Can someone
check their fridge and measure the overall height with the lid in the vertical position? I want to put an overhead storage shelf for pillows, etc. and want to make sure it is going to clear the lid and the hand that opens it. I can't
check the one we use as they are away at the mo.
Thanks

Hi Louie.
I have a 50lt waeco & height with lid open is 780.
The 40lt fridge is 35c smaller & should be 745 when open
Hope this is correct LOL.
Vince.

Thanks Vince. I did measure it a while back when I had the fridge here. That sounds about right from what I remember. Hopefully someone can confirm it. Cheers.

With the lid open it's not going to give you much room for as shelf.
The CF-40 I would alow about 1100mm where by with the CF-50 you would be able to get away with about 850mm due to how the lid opens.
The best way is get a slide.
