Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone knows whether the GQ TI alloy wheels (the ones with three long slots) will fit a 98 GU. (Looking to buy a set of four, three for the camper trailer, one for an extra spare for the car.) Also, I seem to recall someone saying that the GU alloys have a habit of working loose and falling off the car. Is that the case, and does the same problem apply to the GQ alloys?
Thanks,
Tim

Oh, and as I asked in the header - I assume GQ/GU have the same offset?

I do know that GU splits fit a GQ.

I was more concerned about going the other way. I have a vague idea that some GU's have bigger brakes than GQ's ????

One way to find out, go to a wrecker and ask to put one on to see if they fit.

these rims?
Yes they do, but they look hideous. Theres one round the corner from my place, and it just makes you cringe when you see it.
YMMV

Yep, those ones. I wasn't planning to fit them to the GU, though; I want to fit three to the camper trailer and keep the fourth as a second (emergency) spare for the GU. There's a set for sale on ebay at the moment with the same size tyres as I'm running.
Anyone fitted them to camper trailers, and how do they look on those?

I'd be happier keeping same rims on car as trailer, then you have less probs... Or just some new $100 sunnys.
Depends what sort of trailer as how they would look.
